SUMMARY:31st Annual Teddy Bears' Picnic!
DESCRIPTION:Come join Mike and Carleen and the Garden Variety Band for another fun performance of this beloved event! For 31 years\, this outdoor concert in the parks for children and families has been sponsored by the Friends of the Eugene Public Library and over the years\, concert goers who once attended the picnic as children are now bringing their own children to the concert. Grand-parents now delight in bringing their grand-kids. Three generations enjoying the fun! \nNever missing a year in the 31 year run of this concert\, Mike and Carleen and the band consider this event one of their very favorites! So\, bring your bear or special “stuffy”\, your blanket and picnic and favorite family members and friends oodles of fun!

SUMMARY:ONE MIC OPEN MIC
DESCRIPTION:Many thanks to Harlan Rivers for the invitation and for hosting this intimate night of live music\, songs\, and soul! This is the beginning of something Special! We’ll be there and hope you will too! \nThis ONE MIC OPEN MIC is a curated\, folk-rooted gathering where the music is honest\, the setting is warm\, and the mic is shared and will feature an opening set at 6:30 pm from folk duo\, Honey on our Tongues.\nEugene sure needs what Harlan describes as a venue with a vibe that’s cozy and the acoustics are golden. No amps. No backing tracks. Just the musicians\, their songs\, and the room. \nWe hope you’ll stop in\, have a glass of wine or something and support this brand new effort!
