Help Keep the Music Flowing

A lot has changed in the music business since we started playing together in 1971. We used to get paid at most of the venues we played (and maybe got some tips). We used to spend a lot of money producing recordings, which we could then sell as LPs, cassettes or CDs, to help us recoup some of the costs of production.

Nowadays, it’s not quite so straightforward. Some of the venues pay, and some don’t (except for tips). We spend a lot of energy and money producing recordings, and we sell a few CDs, but most people stream our finished recordings, and our recording income has essentially dried up.

We don’t make our music for the money, but money helps us make our music. If you like what we do and would like to help us do what we do, consider showing your support with a donation. We can’t tell you what it’s worth to you; only you know that. And we’ll keep playing for you donation or not, because that’s what we want to do. But if you can help out, we are grateful, and we will apply your donation to making more music for you. And either way, thank you for your support.
